What are we looking for?
For our company we are looking for a Solutions Architect who is willing to work in Krakow for a few months. Travel expenses are fully covered by the company. Relocating is not necessary.
This role explores possibilities, solves problems, and establishes strategic relationships. The Solutions Architect needs to have a balance of serious technical expertise, passion for open source, and a deep understanding of business processes and IT problems faced at the enterprise level.
- Analyses technical requirements, defining the most efficient and appropriate usage of technologies
- Serves as the subject matter expert at the client site, addressing technical issues as they arise
- Participates actively in Middleware project implementations
- Supports other Middleware developers by creating standards and ensuring governance is observed during development
- Carrys out technical quality assurance and code reviews
- Supports business development managers in producing proposals, including defining scope and estimating costs
- Defines governance of the solution and clear evolution paths for long term projects
- Takes responsibility for migration of data and processes from Legacy systems to open microservices architectures
- Analyses performance requirements and suggests viable ways of improving applications
Requirements:
Experience as a solutions architect or consulting delivery role; 4+ years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures. Excellent technical and communications skills, and experience designing and implementing Java and JEE solutions. Strong technical knowledge in Application Servers implementation, support, workload management and performance tuning. Knowledge about DevOps practices and automation of standard pipelines. Experience working with Kubernetes clusters and container based implementations
