Description
We have been given the opportunity to help one of our leading global energy clients to find an Onshore Export Cable Supply Manager for one of their latest Wind Farm Projects. The main scope for this role will be to give support creating ITT material which will include HDD, more details below, the Consultant will be required to have a strong technical knowledge of export cables, including HDD and a strong commercial knowledge. This freelance contract role is due to start 9th July 2018 up until 31st December 2018 with the possibility to extend further thereafter. The average working day will be 8hrs, 5 days a week. The Consultant must expect 5 travelling days/month, and will be based from the client's offices in Denmark.Requirements:
- Will be responsible for the supply, jointing and termination of onshore export cables and connection equipment.
- To take part in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation
- Make sure that the project is delivered on time and within budget
- Make that the clients guidelines and standards (ISO9001, QUBE and Sherlock requirements)
- To ensure that best technical practices are implemented
- Hand-over agreed documentation to O& M and OFTO
- Enforce the Company HSE requirements by promoting and excellent safety culture
- QA through all of the tasks on the project
- Control CTQs are transferred and managed in QAS for design
- Once contracts have been signed ensure updating of Critical to Quality (CTQ) and control of CTQ is transferred to Quality Activity Schedule (QAS)
Qualifications:
- BSc Electrical Engineering or the equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years. practical as well as theoretical experience within high voltage onshore export. cables and accessories.
- Must be an excellent project engineer.
Special Provisions:
The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.
The Consultant must also have his her own PPE equipment.
