DevOps Engineer - 6 month contract
A large client of our in on the lookout for an experienced and passionate DevOps engineer that can elevate their cloud infrastructure and increase efficiency within the business. As a DevOps engineer you will enable developers to deploy new features by programming (automated) tools to help you do their work.
The ideal candidate needs to have 3+ years of DevOps Engineering experience with a pro-active approach towards gaining knowledge and a self-improvement attitude.
Skills and expertise
- Experience with and understanding of cloud hosting, preferably with Azure
- Experience with containers (Docker)
- Strong knowledge in the area of Continuous Integration/Delivery with tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies & tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira
- Knowledge with development/adjustment of UCD framework
- Deep understanding of infrastructure end to end components
- Good experience with linux platform
- Good experience with wintel platform.
