Next Ventures are executing a search for a French speaking IT Operations manager for a project in Angels, France.
Job Brief
Maintaining the IT infrastructure in operational condition, by integrating. technical developments and group projects,. by supervising the technical team and the support teams,: helpdesk, managing IT requests to ensure the availability of IT solutions and assisting users
Expertise/Main Activities
Management Of operating activities -
- Organize & supervise the entire IT production and Operation
- Ensure that the IT infrastructure remains in operational conditions
- To evolve and optimize the production infrastructures. (new equipment and authorization)
- Manage and/or participate in production and evolution (applications 'and infrastructures)
- Ensure the proper technical functioning of the applications in productions (crafts or transverse)
- Ensure the right dimensioning of 'resources
- Guarantee. a.defined level of quality. of service and security to the users in adequacy with business.and.group constraints
- Ensure the backup and archivingof the. data produced
- To beinvolved in the resolution of critical incidents( diagnosis, resolution, recovery, information. to users)
- Ensure a technolOgical watch to propose changes
- Ensure travel within the.national & internatiOnal perimeter
Definition of procedures and standards
- Define and/or enforce lT prOcedures, standards and processes tTo optimize. the performance of the inforthation.System
- Define the company's hardWare.and software standards
- Create and ./or maintain current documentation and procedures updated with current standards
- Implement indicators {performance, cost, timeframe)., procedures,standards. (such.as.ITIL)
- Define procedures.for preventive and curative maintenance. of the operating system.
Technical.Project Management -.
Collecting: users' needs, analysing them from the technical point of view and drawing up technical specifications
Plan the implementation of the: various technical projects Within the deadlines: and resources: allocated
Evaluate the cost of projects and do the reporting
Resolution and' control Of operations
- Ensure the conformity Of the. delivered solutions
- Write test. plans for installation, operation and. Integration and plan test.tasks
- Analyze dashbOardS.to Monitor the continuity of IT production
- Evaluate the quality.of the solutions delivered.and propose corrective actions
- Make evaluated the benefits or services received and carry out the corrective actions
Job Description
Management of a production department
- Manage the production budget
- Define the: organization of the department and the system of On-call duty (no Obligation of on-ce!l duty. for the moment)
- Plan the interventions and .resource allocation
- Manage internal production teams
- Contribute to the recruitment of new employees.
- Increase.production. teams skills
- Managing relationships with external service providers
Involving in the iMPlementatiOn of the health and safety policy
- Respect the rules and procedures in the. Company
- Appropriate the messages, company objectives in matter of health and safety
- To report to his or her manager any risky Situation
- Promote health and Safety Within its entity on the basis of its knowledge and training received
Contribute to the animation and implementation of the quality management .system .(ISO 90001) within its organization

- Native/fluent French language (written, read and spoken)

- Management in an international environment.
- Knowledge of the Quality System (ISO,. Procedures)
- Knowledge of the security system (OHSAS; procedures ...)

Specific. Knowledges
- Knowledge of IT standards: eg ITL (possibility of being trained in 3/4 days)
- Knowledge in IT project management (Prince 2; pmp)
- TechniCal knowledge adapted to:the production environment
