Description
Database Administrator - MarkLogic wanted for our Zurich based client in the IT service sector.Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years' working experience as a database administrator on MarkLogic, preferably in a financial environment
- Expertise in handling files, searching logs and checking processes with Unix
- Practical knowledge in SQL querying, Microsoft SQL and Oracle
- Familiarity with 3rd Level Support along with excellent problem-solving skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is advantageous
Your tasks:
- Maintaining the logins and Mark Logic database server software in addition with Mark Logic database standards, documenting policies and procedures for Mark Logic database administration functions as well as installing monitors
- Managing Mark Logic database security along with monitoring and analysing database server performance issues
- Supporting the Application Development staff by developing efficient XQuery code to access and manipulate Mark Logic database objects as required
- Being responsible for creating Corb, Forests and Replicas, configuring and maintaining Mark Logic database replication as well as maintaining Corb scripts
- Being in charge for updating XQSync property files and transferring data between Mark Logic databases
