One of my top Clients based in Sweden are currently looking for an Incident Response manager

Incident Response manager urgently required for interesting contract in Sweden

The Incident Response manager will be Responsible for the following:

  • Incident Response: Rapid and effective handling of emerging incidents, whether detected by the team itself, reported from external channel, or otherwise manifested. Potential damage should be eliminated, or at least minimized.
  • Forensic: Quick analysis of what has happened in connection with an incident and secure proof of proof.
  • Worldwide monitoring: The incident manager is expected to have good and fresh IT security skills and regularly attend training, participate in conferences, be active in various forums, as well as acquire a well-established network of contacts both within and outside the financial industry.
  • You are expected to work technically and have close and regular collaboration. Most of the work is done during office hours, but sometimes are expected to be included in emergency preparedness.

The Incident Response manager will ideally have the following skills and expertise:

Mandatory competence

  • Experience with incident management
  • SIEM/Log analytic tools
  • Technical security functions such as: Firewall, AW, IPS/IDS, EDR
  • IT-forensics
  • Penetration testing
  • Windows, UNIX, Network

Qualifying skills requirements

  • Experience from CERT/CSIRT or SOC
  • CISSP or equal
  • Relevant academic education
