Global Data Privacy Analyst- Global Media company - Central London - Contract 3-6 months

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Global Data Privacy Analyst to work on a contract basis within a Global Media Organisation

As a Group Data Privacy Analyst you will provide professional, efficient and high quality project management of key initiatives of the Group's Privacy programme directly support the Group Data Protection Officer in their role.

The Data Protection Analyst will be required to demonstrate a good degree of technical expertise in privacy and data protection and will assist in steering committees, global projects and other ad-hoc initiatives to maintain a high standard of compliance resilience within the Group.

This role is suited to an experienced project manager with significant experience as a privacy/compliance professional with an understanding of data protection laws the successful candidate will need a good eye for detail the ability to multi-task and take a pragmatic approach to compliance in a fast-paced commercial environment. A good knowledge of data protection compliance is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with a Global Data Protection Officer to develop Groupwide privacy frameworks (Governance, policies, standards), this role will have 2 main responsibilities:

Rollout of Data Privacy tool

  • Create business case for Data Privacy tool, experience in this area will be beneficial
  • Setup and Configuration of the tool (including single sign one)
  • Testing (creating test cases and working with business to ensure results are documented)
  • Migration of existing data (bulk uploads data maps)
  • Material for deployment (running training workshops and creating outputs)
  • Long term process for register of processing

Work with Group DPO to align and develop privacy standards and materials

  • Support for policy standards/templates (Aligning all Unsubscribe processes to one Global Process; Review and Align various SAR processes; Review Third party Supplier Processes; Breach process)

Other ad-hoc task to support Group DPO could include

  • Assist Groupwide Breach Investigations and support Divisional Privacy Leads if necessary
  • Lead engagement sessions with the Division leads in marketing, HR, Information Security and Sales
  • Develop privacy policy templates including version control
  • Assist in data privacy training and awareness activities, developing materials as needed
  • Monitor compliance activities and effectiveness of internal controls conducting assessments and audits
  • Manage Subject Access Requests and Data Breaches and responses
  • Review of Privacy Impact Assessments.
