NETWORK & FIREWALL contract role available in Valencia, Spain. This is with an international company and is an initial 6 month contract with long term potential. It is an English speaking role but in a very multinational environment.

We want you to:

  • Configure and support the Cisco Network Infrastructure based on Nexus (7010, 5548 and 1000v), Catalyst Switches (4500, 3850, 3750, 3560), and ISR/ASR1000 Routers.
  • Support and administer Checkpoint Firewalls.
  • Support and administer F5, Netscaler and Cisco Wireless Controllers.
  • Configure Juniper Pulse.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the WAN (Wide Area Network).
  • Perform first and second level support and help resolve network and security related incidents.
As Network & Firewall Administrator you will have:
  • Relevant experience in Network Engineering and Network Security.
  • 5 years hands-on experience managing and configuring Cisco devices and Checkpoint Firewalls.
  • Proven experience with Cisco tech including its installation and monitoring.
  • CCNA/CCNP certifications.
  • Sound knowledge of TCP/IP Networking and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches, Cisco ISR/ASR Routers, load balancers, VPN gateways and Firewalls.
  • ITIL understanding.
  • Ability to live and work in Valencia for the contract duration.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).
