FPGA ENGINEER - Contract until December 2018 - Gloucestershire - Up to £45
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a security company based in Gloucestershire. They are looking for an FPGA engineer to join their team on a contract basis until December.
Key Skills:
Development of element level requirements and design with corresponding documentation as part of a team
Code development and review to coding guidelines
Developing of element and system level tests, test documentation and conduct of testing activities, specifically: behavioural & self checking test benches, using code coverage tools
Coding using VHDL(2008) particularly targeting Xilinx technology, (Verilog, SystemVerilog ideally as additional languages)
Achieving timing closure in complex, high speed designs targeted at large FPGA devices, developing timing constraints
Design robust designs in complex multi-clock domain systems
Expertise in the following is essential:
Mentor Graphics QuestaSim
Tcl Scripting essential, automated build tools: Make etc. preferable
Xilinx Vivado tools: AXI-4 InterconnecT, high speed interface implementation with complex IP cores: eg PCIe, DMA, JESD204B, DDR3/4, 10GE
Version control systems, specifically Git, (Gitlab)
Continuous integration development using a Agile approach, eg Jenkins build automation
