We are currently looking for a Construction Supervisor for one of our global renewable energy clients. This exciting opportunity to work at the clients O&M facility in Holland is for 11 months approx., starting 1st October 2018 to 30 September 2019. There will be a rotation with this role 12hrs a day, 7 days a week, 2 on/2 off duty but this could change so flexibility will be needed.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for health and safety for all O&M facilities activities during the execution phase and to establish a safety culture amongst all involved parties on site
- Ensure completion of construction of O&M facilities (physical asset) on time, budget & built in accordance with specification agreed in contract and ready for handover to O&M Proactive management, good cooperation, communication, reporting, identification, coordination and securing of interfaces, including alignment of scope of work and deliverables
- Ensure that lessons learnt and best practice are implemented
- Ensure clients' requirements and tasks are transferred to appointed Principle Contractor and his Site Management Organisation for execution as specified in Contracts and governing the client's site & HSE Management documents
- Oversee that the construction is made in accordance with requirement, specifications and standards defined by Operations (Operation Preparation Manager)
- Participate in tender process for ensuring compliancy with O&M facilities site requirements
Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum professional experience and experience within offshore wind farm industry would be an advantage
- Must be fluent in Dutch & English as all contracts and workforce are Dutch and English
- MSc/BSc in civil engineering
- 3 - 5 years documented experience within construction management of onshore activities in large scale construction projects as well as same type of construction work within country of installation
- 3 - 5 years of documented leadership experience and experience within HSE management.
Special Provisions:
The consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an iPhone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.
