Description
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Certification:
CCNP or CCIE in Cisco Voice.
Languages:
Should be fluent in English and Dutch
Must have recent hands-on experience with the following tools and technologies:
- Cisco Call Manager (Ver 7.x and above)
- DECT Systems
- Cisco Unity
- E911 environments
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager 8.x
- Cisco Servers (VM and traditional platforms)
- Wire Shark and RTMT
Job Description:
- Work closely with the client and other track teams to obtain technical knowledge and to solve chronic problems during the project.
- Must possess a strong understanding of telecommunication circuits (DS-0, DS-1, DS-3, T-1, T-3, PRI, and BRI) and multimedia protocols (H.323, SIP, SCCP, MGCP, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, etc.).
- Troubleshoot common VoIP issues including identifying and correcting issues with endpoints, trunks, dial plans, and profiles;
- Need hands-on technical experience supporting unified communications and Voice Over IP (VoIP) telephony services;
- Should have experience in administration and maintenance of a large Cisco campus wide enterprise VOIP network.
- Should be familiar with DECT (Siemens and ASCOM) Systems.
- Work closely with ASCOM technicians to build ASCOM Wireless Architecture and Integrate with Cisco Call Manager Infrastructure.
- Build, integrate and test the Integration(Trunks)between ASCOM and Cisco Infrastructure.
- Recent experience as a Linux and/or Windows System Administrator is a big plus.
- Sound knowledge on ASCOM Products (Like: Gateways and WAP's) is a big plus.
- Work with other track teams as hands and feet support to rack mount Server hardware and install Operating Systems.
- Should have hands on experience in various troubleshooting tools (Wireshark or SIP or network tools).
- Ability to work in a team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environments.
