Microsoft Administrator - contract role
The Administrator will be able to engage in detailed design activities to agree the deployment model and progress to conducting the deployment and setup of Microsoft HyperV platforms and SQL installations in a resilient manner.
The key skills required are:
Creating Microsoft HyperV based shared environments
Building resilient Microsoft infrastructure platforms for the deployment of mission critical business applications
Designing resillient SQL Server deployments, including typical log shipping, the new Standard Edition Basic Clustering features and encryption
Setting up Windows clustering for resilience and migration and configuring failover
Working with Active Directory Domains and Forest Trust
Backup and monitoring configuration
