On behalf of our client an international finance institute in Prague, we are looking for external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
Job role:
Web Application Developer (f/m) financial area Prague
Task and responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain reusable components and implementation of Regulatory Reporting
- Web Application - both in Front End and server/data-store access technologies
- Complement each built component with comprehensive automated unit tests
- As a member of our SFTR Project Scrum team participate in all Agile/Scrum team sessions
- Participate in iteration planning and deliver on the team's commitments within each sprint
- Support colleagues within the closest Scrum team irrespective of the member's role/expertise; collaborate with QA,
- DevOps, other Developers and Product Owners to build and deliver solution to the end customers
- Assist Relationship Management and Customer Support on detailed engineering challenges when required
- Maintain personal task list in Jira and contribute to management of Jira team items
- Maintain source code (including complimentary documents and texts) in GitHub
Mandatory skills and experience
- Strong understanding of web application concepts
- React.js/Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 (Saas or LESS) for development of Web
Application user interface
- React test framework, Enzyme, Jest as technologies for automated unit tests of the UI
- Java or Go for Back End service development - REST Web API, data-store access layer
- Automated unit and integration testing for the Back End implementation
- Experience with Web App security and authentication concepts
- Linux as main operating system hosting and executing implementation
- Azure hosting and cloud experience
- GitHub for version control
Optional skills
- Jira for backlog and task management
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Kafka, Flink, Beam
- Azure HDInsight, Cosmos DB
- Understanding of patterns streaming and service bus ecosystems
- Jenkins, DevOps and CI practices
- Knowledge of Security Financing Transaction
- Knowledge of Regulatory Transaction Reporting within EU
Start: September 2018
Duration: 3 months (extensions till end of the 8-12 months long project is anticipated but cannot be guaranteed)
