Senior Engineering LAN Security - CISSP - Check Point
I am working with a globally recognized multinational provider of IT Solutions, who are looking for LAN Security Engineers, to assist them in their latest project within European Institutions.
Some of the key technical and functional skills that my customer is looking for include;
- Aruba Wireless/Clearpass or Infoblox (DNS or DHCP)
- Pulse policy secure
- Bluecoat
- Proxy SG
- Radware Alteon
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
- Blue Coat Security Certification (Blue Coat Proxy SG)
- Juniper Networks Certified Specialist FWV (JNCIS FWV)
Methodologies
- ITIL framework and methodology
- Project Management (Prince 2, PMI or equivalent)
Some of the key responsibilities included for this role include;
- Analysis and specification of operational requirements
- Analysis and specification of operational processes
- Analysis and specification of technical requirements
- Proofs of concept
- Development of scripts to automate and monitor recurrent systems related tasks
- Definition of test strategies, test design and testing of computing systems and networks
- Performance management
- Change and Configuration management (eg, assessment, scheduling, implementation, review)
- Capacity management
- Risk management
- Operational support (2nd tier)
