Description
A Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of System Testers.
Contract period: ASAP to 31 Dec 2018 (with possible extension options).
The requirements for the Tester role include, but not limited to:
- Undertaking manual testing (including test case design, test execution, raising and monitoring defects);
- Supporting automated testing (including running of test scripts and interpretation of outcomes);
- Adhering to standardised testing process across all Agency IT Programs;
- Implementing and tracking the suite of testing deliverables;
- Conducting detailed test planning;
- Work with the Business and Project Managers to identify and document dependencies;
- Product Quality Assurance through reviews of functional specifications and related system documentation;
- Escalating testing issues and risks, and project issues and risks impacting on the testing process
- Providing accurate and timely reports to the Test Manager and other stakeholders;
- Co-ordinating User Acceptance Testing;
- Producing documentation and artefacts to support the development of functional testing (including Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, and Test Status Reports);
- Promoting the value of testing to stakeholders; and
- Participating in development and maintenance of the testing-related documentation suite.
The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship and Baseline clearance for this role.
