Project Manager (Barbados)
The Project Manager will be required to manage and deliver a project to expand the infrastructure and IT capability of an ongoing project in Barbados.

Monday 3 September 2018
Expected contract length
9 months with the option to extend for up to an additional 9 months.
Location
The individual will be required to work in the UK (remotely) and in Barbados. The expected requirement will be to deploy for 50% of the time.
Who the specialist will work with
The individual will be supported by a regional senior officer and will work with international partners.
What the specialist will work on
The requirements of the Project Manager will be to manage and oversee the implentation of (but not limited to):
- Increase capacity of data centre infrastructure and network capability.
- work alongside other departments.
- increase data storage.
- improve security.
- Increase operational efficiency.
Address where the work will take place
The individual will be required to work in the UK (remotely) and in Barbados.
The expected requirement will be to deploy for 50% of the time.
Security clearance
SC clearance is required.
Essential skills and experience
- Previous experience of working with ATSG system (within a Border Security environment) (25%)
- Previous experience in building IT capability and infrastructure for targeting (10%)
- Experience of working alongside International partners (10%)
- Experience in managing and overseeing the implementation of data storage & management solutions (10%)
- Experience in managing and overseeing the implementation of data centre infrastrucure and networking (10%)
- Experience in managing and overseeing the implementation of improvements to data recovery sites (5%)
