We are currently recruiting for Middleware Was Engineer position for our client based in Paris, France.

Job description:

Environment:

In the ITID teams, the Middleware domain is in charge of support for running infrastructures, delivering projects and evolution of existing application Servers' architectures. Our current migration to UK datacenters and some major modernization projects force us to recruit new members to deliver this challenges.

Mission:

The Middleware team main objectives are:

  • Delivering engineering solutions, day to day support of Middleware infrastructures and surrounding products (WAS, MQ, File Transfer, Grid, Weblogic, Splunk, Mule).
  • Support for performance tests and infrastructure optimizations
  • Creating and updating documentations regarding technologies, infrastructures and projects
  • Support for development and integration teams
  • Support for TRP and BRP processes
  • Creation of automatic processes and scripts for industrialization and automation of projects delivery and BAU

Due to workload some operations during some week end will be required.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Significant experience in Application Server and Messaging
  • Scripting Shell, Jython
  • Good expertise on IBM WAS, MQ et CA Introscope
  • Capability to onboard projects, provide advises to architects and projects' teams
  • Capability to understand, debug and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Rigorous, autonomous, good analytical and adaptation
  • Good communication with people from different background (technology, business, administration), different cultures and different languages.
  • Capability to report progress and issue to management
  • Able to chair meetings and phone calls in English
