Surveillance Manager - London - £700 Per Day - 3 months
The role will be to assist the organisations surveillance team in developing existing surveillance tests, and establishing new tests. This will include consideration of risks, the methodologies required to enable the effective identification of investment and trading risks, and the interpretation of findings.
The job holder will be someone who has worked in an asset management firm in the Monitoring and Surveillance function, preferably in a capacity in which he or she has gained experience of setting and running surveillance tests to identify investment desk and trading risks and issues.
Ideally the job holder will have also had good experience in interpreting findings and communicating these to the business and management.
A good understanding of FCA principles and rules is required.
NB Preferably someone who has been in a managerial surveillance role.
- Experience in surveillance within an asset manager
- Does some design, leading and interpreting
- Trade surveillance (mainly around) & Transactions, Comms and Products
- Will be able to give advice and to lead
- Would prefer Buy side/Asset Management experience
