Job Title: Microsoft Administrator

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Tallinn, Estonia

Contract Rate: Euro 230 per day Max.

Contract Length: 5 months

Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Microsoft Administrator to join their client in Tallinn, Estonia.

Job Description:

  • Participate in design sessions with project staff as required
  • Build business processes to support orchestration of web services
  • Participate in team reviews of design artefacts and code, make changes as required, and recommend alternative solutions where appropriate
  • Design, code, unit test, system test, performance test, debug, implement, and support 3rd party products; validation of the set-up of application layer services for the various environments (DEV/TST/PPR/PRD/PGD)
  • Implementation of custom code/scripts if required
  • Coordination of small technical work packages
  • Work with technical and functional teams to ensure effective delivery of systems
  • Support the client with the definition of software development methodologies and standards; ensure that those standards are encapsulated in the future evolutions
  • Work with technical teams within group as well as outside group to ensure effective delivery
  • Follow established processes for configuration and release management to ensure that all project artefacts are managed, integrated, and versioned according to standards.
  • Support the release manager with the entry into operation processes and related preparatory activities
  • Support the test team with the definition of the enhanced solution testing methods, as well as related tools, scripts, automations and data
  • Support the project manager with drafting technical specifications for work orders, specific contracts or call for tenders

Qualifications

Profile Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school
  • Minimum 7 years of IT professional experience, of which minimum 4 years experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Platform Architecture and Development, including 2 years working with Oracle database
  • Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft Windows Server based environments and Active Directory configurations
  • Administration of Backup & Storage systems
  • Network infrastructure services (print server, dns, ntp, etc.)
  • Active Directory (AD) / LDAP Management
  • Email and antispam systems
  • Network Access Server (NAS) and Distributed file systems
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems
  • Replication & Disaster recovery
  • Document management systems
  • Centralized deployment of software and updates
  • HW/SW inventory management
  • Software compliance monitoring and enforcement
  • SQL Server maintenance and drafting of operational procedures
  • Centralized IT security policy management
  • Familiar with ITIL/ITIL V3 concepts
  • Strong skills in Services Design Best Practices, Service Performance Monitoring, Service Performance Tuning, Service Interface Specifications
  • Knowledge of SOA Design patterns for building middleware systems ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms
  • Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution
  • Expertise in interoperability standards and methods
  • Monitoring systems (configuration, customisation, further development), SCOM infrastructure knowledge would be an asset
  • Configuration and ticketing systems, SCCM, SCSM infrastructure knowledge would be an asset
  • Virtual servers : VMware ESX would be an asset
  • NetApp Storage experience advantageous
  • Very good spoken and written English
