Description

Title: IT Support Specialist

Duration: 6 month +

Start: ASAP

Rate: $23/Hr.

Number of Positions: 2

Years of Experience: 5 Years of Experience

Our client is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of IT Support Specialist in the Dallas, Texas office. Shifts could be 9-6 or 7-4 for 40 hours a week.

What you'll do:

  • Provide level II support for PC hardware and software, printing, mobile devices and desk phones for a large manufacturing company
  • Attempt to resolve customer computer issues utilizing your customer service and technical skills with Microsoft and Dell products.
  • Able to communicate technical information to customers using everyday terms they will understand. Avoid the use of technical terms and jargon whenever possible.
  • Produce quality resolution documentation.
  • Maintaining technical knowledge base. Report whenever updates are needed to ensure the content of the documentation is current, relevant, and accurate.
  • Be current on the latest developments in software and desktop technology
  • Support an on call rotation
  • Provide training to End User on applications, software and IT policies, including New Hire orientation

Required Experience:

  • 5 years' IT Support Experience in an environment supporting a large global corporate customer base
  • Must be able to demonstrate how to provide excellent customer service and the ability to meet metrics as prescribed
  • Successful candidate must have 5yrs experience and be able to demonstrate their technical skills in providing support for the following: Level II troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, Basic Networking and Internet troubleshooting, Mobile Devices troubleshooting for both iPhones and Androids, Active Directory, Wireless Access, VPN Access, Windows7 and Windows10, MS Office and O365, Working with Cisco VoiP including Voicemail, User Administration including on boarding/off boarding, and Air Watch Administration

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior Command Center experience is preferred
  • Must be a team player in a collaborative environment but have the ability to work on their own when needed
  • Excellent communication skills(written and verbal)
  • Self motivated and require minimal supervision
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • A+/MSCA Certifications
  • ITIL Certification
