Description

Scientist with profound protein analytics knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • Educational background in life sciences, for example biochemistry, chemistry or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in instrumental analytics such as chromatography, electrophoresis or spectroscopy in addition to protein characterisation
  • Ability to interpret scientific information critically and objectively
  • Competency of using MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal, team and organisational skills
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Providing analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects using modern physico-chemical test methods such as HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, peptide mapping, mass spectrometry, cIEF and spectroscopy
  • Developing analytical test methods
  • Performing analytical characterisation programs for materials intended for pre-clinical and clinical use
  • Planning and undertaking the analyses and evaluating and documenting the results
  • Qualifying analytical methods according standard operating procedures
  • Being responsible for technical organisation of the laboratory
