Description
A Maximo Expert is required by my client based in Central London, it is a 3 - 6 month contract with view to extend.
Skills/Requirements:
- Hands on experience in IBM Maximo and JEE skills.
- Technically sound and have excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Should be able to handle high priority tickets (P1 and P2) and enhancements in the technology stack mentioned above.
- Should have worked in onsite offshore engagements in the past.
- Come up with Ideas on Automation for the activities carried out and implement them.
- Relationship management - should develop rapport and work closely with the customer and be the single point of contact for the team.
- Should closely work with the offshore team and make sure the team meets the SLAs agreed with the customer.
- Take part in the monthly service reviews with the customer and also in continuous improvement activities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To be a subject matter expert on the configuration and use of Maximo
* Lead on the development of the use of the new business solutions within Maximo
* Responsible for taking business requirements and translating these into configured solutions within Maximo
* Solutions should utilise the standard configuration tools within Maximo and avoiding bespoke customisation of the product
* Responsible for working with the systems integration team to develop required integrations between Maximo and other business applications
* Works with the MI team to ensure there is a suite of reports that supports the work order management process
* Documents configured solutions and provide effective handover to applications support team
* This role will be essential to designing and configuring solutions within Maximo to support the requirements of new contract mobilisations and business process improvement projects
* The role is as a subject matter expert on the businesses core CAFM system
