System Analyst/Mainframe/Accounting
Looking for a systems analyst with excellent Mainframe skills. This is a long term contract working for a leading bank in Amsterdam. You will work in an Agile environment being part of a dynamic scrum team. You will work in the accounting department of the bank taking care of the application. Together with the Product Owners you will work out technical solutions you with translate change project into small user stories and shippable products. You will design, develop and Maintain the accounting application (Cobol) running on Mainframe.
We are looking for someone with a hands-on mentality and an eye for detail. You are an open and transparent individual and you like to coach people. You will have a passion for IT and follow the newest trends.
- Working experience in a Mainframe environment (IBM Mainframe, Z/OS serie)
- Good basic understanding of accounting/finance
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience developing in Cobol-85/Cool:Gen/JAVA 7
- Communication: IMS and (Webshere) MQ (Pre)
- Database: IMS and DB2 v. 11.1 (Pre)
