Synergis is seeking an experienced Salesforce System Administrator for our client. This person would be a part of the Sales CRM Project on the Global Operations team. The SF Admin is responsible for the technical design of sales capabilities to orchestrate sales operations processes across the enterprise using Salesforce.com (SFDC). The Salesforce System Administrator is responsible for the implementation of business and technical requirements to establish an eco-system of efficient, effective, enterprise sales CRM processes via Salesforce. The Salesforce.comSystem Administrator works cross-functionally and with multiple levels of the organization to ensure timely and quality delivery of end-to-end solutions of Salesforce CRM. The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and solid understanding of the SF platform.

Salesforce CRM System Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement solutions that automate business processes
  • Perform administration, configuration, and enhancement of the Salesforce.com solution
  • Work with business to understand business processes and business requirements and translate into functional requirements and design
  • Liaise with IT on design and configuration processes with upstream and downstream functions on the SF platform to enable integrated end-to-end solutions
  • Design and implement solutions to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring quality, scalability and timely delivery
  • Support the single instance strategy for Salesforce.com by supporting governance processes and deploying solutions within the defined release management process
  • Maintain an understanding of the Salesforce.com platform and technical components, including data model, integration between components and impacts of process and technical designs with upstream and downstream processes
  • Perform comprehensive testing prior to engaging with the Business Analysts and end users for testing
  • Collaborate within the release management process to package of solutions for deployment, supporting necessary documentation of solutions, post deployment steps and deployment tollgates
  • Provide tier 2/3 support
  • Support bug/defect resolution
  • Stay current on Salesforce.com functionality, best practices, releases, product roadmaps and 3rd party applications available via the AppExchange.

Salesforce CRM System Administrator Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Major in Business Management, Computer Science, MIS, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Current, valid, verifiable Salesforce.com 201 certification (Certified Salesforce Administrator) or higher (401 & 211 a strong plus)

Salesforce CRM System Administrator Desired Education, Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce.com administration
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or CRM application administration
  • Experience in configuration of Salesforce.com platform, to include:
  • Fields, objects, page layouts, list views, formulas, triggers
  • Process builders, workflows, validation rules and approval processes
  • User administration to include users, profiles, roles, sharing rules, security rules, permission sets, hierarchies and territories
  • Dashboards and reports
  • Alerts, notifications, email templates
  • Proven experience implementing and enhancing the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Communities as well as the Force.com platform
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce1/mobile app
  • Experience with DocuSign preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed business environment
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with business partners, business analysts and project team partners to design and deliver solutions, resolve issues and drive work to completion
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
