SharePoint Farm Administration - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced SharePoint expert to manage a number of on-premise SharePoint Farms for a global organisation.Your experience/skills:
- Several year's work experience with SharePoint and associated technologies and tools as well as experience in running a stretch-farm or similar non trivial deployment
- Expertise in deploying and managing multiple productive SharePoint 2013 farms
- Broad knowledge of SharePoints logical farm architecture and major service applications
- Solid understanding of methods to synchronize SharePoint environments beside sound knowledge of SharePoints security model
- Ability to work with dependant IT teams to coordinate changes (networks, security, DBAs)
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Contributing to and supporting the wider collaboration programme and its projects as well as facilitating the on-boarding and maintenance of customer areas to the existing platform
- Managing of productive and non-productive farms beside conducting preparation
- Maintaining healthy Services via monitoring and reporting, the security of the Farm and its assets via best practice, auditing and governance
- Contributing to documentation of configuration, topologies, processes, practices and to the SharePoint team on Infrastructural best-practices and Architecture decisions
