Description
Within the IIM (Information Infrastructure Management) Security team you will initially focus primarily on improving the current design of Qualys. Within the organization this tool is used for VM (Vulnerabilty Management) & PC (Policy Compliance).
The Security team currently consists of 3 people with their own specialism (Oracle, Linux, Windows & VMware). You are going to be part of the team.
The tasks you will perform consist of:
Improving the design of Qualys
Review/improving design (Assets/Schedules)
Updating CIS Benchmarks based Policies within Qualys
Reports
Exceptions
Advising on the Hardening of Servers (Microsoft/Linux)
Signaling, designing and implementation of - improvement options.
Conduct regular consultations within the IIM Team and also with SCSC (Responsible for IT Security policy)
The aim of the assignment is that after carrying out the above tasks periodically useful reports from the various Assets will be delivered from Qualys. And documentation about the implementation choices within Qualys is available
Required knowledge:
Experience with the design/setup of Qualys within an organization
At least 5 years of work experience in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of hardening Microsoft (OS/AD/IIS);
Knowledge of Hardening VMware (ESXi) & Linux (Redhat);
Knowledge of Active Directory & Microsoft OS (Server 2) is a pre
Knowledge of Vsphere 6.x is a plus
