Description
I am working with a well established company who are looking for someone to come join them onsite for 6 months with possible extensions, they are looking for a EMC Test Consultant, ideally with the following:
Will need
- Compliance (electronics safety)
- Good knowledge of EMC
- Good track record with other Medical Device companies (safety critical)
- Safety/EMC/Rust Management
- Worked with complex electronic equipment
Role:
Keep abreast of changes to international regulatory requirements that may affect MS Products.
Ensure new MS Products comply with international regulations, and review existing products to ensure continued compliance.
Advise design/development engineers on best practice to ensure products pass certification tests promptly.
Chair safety reviews and other regulatory reviews to ensure consistency between projects.
Manage third-party test houses and certification bodies to ensure prompt completion of testing projects.
Manage & conduct internal pre-compliance testing.
Required experience:
Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (eg LVD, EMC, IVD, NRTL, FCC, ROHS, WEEE) and standards (eg 61010, 61326,60950).
For this role there will be a 1 hour telephone interview then an offer and they are able to do this as soon as later today.
