This assignment is suited to someone looking for a complex and fast-paced environment, with lots of moving parts.
Whilst you will be an IT professional by trade, you will be working closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, in a centralised Information Security team that sits outside of IT. It will be a very important stakeholder, but your team will provide a holistic view of information governance, and recommend best practice solutions to reduce risk and maximise business opportunities.
The successful candidate will...
- Have a considerable track record working on security projects for large, complex organisations - preferably business to consumer
- Have an excellent understanding of security assessment and structured risk management approaches
- Understand security design, architecture, and implementation (including cloud security architecture)
- Have extensive experience in compliance management
- Be proficient with industry standards for security & privacy frameworks
- Have sound knowledge of the current IT landscape - vendors and technologies
- Have excellent people and communication skills.
