This is a 6 month contract with the potential for a permanent role.
Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a social enterprise and our aim is to create an inspirational neighbourhood. CSCB has transformed a largely derelict 13-acre site into a thriving mixed-use neighbourhood by creating new co-operative homes; shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars; a park and riverside walkway; sports facilities; by organising festivals and events; and by providing childcare, family support, learning, and enterprise support programmes. Income is generated from a variety of sources including the hire of retail and catering spaces, event spaces, meeting room spaces and conference venue spaces as well as the provision of consultancy services.
The IT Manager is responsible for the development and management of our IT, telecommunications and AV systems to ensure their efficient and effective use meets the needs of Coin Street and delivers to the IT Strategy. We have an exciting opportuning for an IT Manager to join our small and friendly IT team. This role offers an experienced IT Manager, the opportunity to provide a comprehensive IT service to our people. Ensuring the infrastructure is secure, up to date and compliant and that appropriate IT policies are in place and procedures followed.
This is a truly hands on IT position so we are looking for someone who has a successful significant track record at a senior level in IT with proven experience of developing, implementing and managing new applications and information management systems as well as upgrades to existing systems.
The successful candidate will be highly skilled with proven experience in project management, and relational databases with knowledge of infrastructure and hardware management including server administration and data security technologies.

Coin Street offers a non-contributory pension scheme with an employer contribution of 9% from the first day of employment. Based on a salary of £45,000, the employer contribution on an annual basis would be £4050 with no need to make an employee pension contribution.
