Rate: €650-€775

Interim Technical/Architect - Mulesoft Certified
Our client is a well know Banking organisation recruiting talented interims to support an ongoing programme, which is focusing on building a new API and integration/interface Centre of Excellence within the client operation
CMA Open banking and current PSD2 focus make this essential as is the ability to enable each of the current delivery programmes (some Waterfall, some more agile) to provide the expertise, guidance and experience to allow this to be delivered.

Role:
Technical Architect - Mulesoft Certified
The role is to develop the detailed architecture and architectural standards for the API layer that will support the integration and interface between a new banking platform and the multitude if Front End and Back End applications used by customers and staff. This could be anything from internal financial reporting or risk management systems through online banking to extend payment processes.
Deliverables and Expected Activities:
In conjunction with the wider team the resource provided will take part in the full review of the E2E Daily Delta Solution Implementation (Desk check/Troubleshooting)
o JVM Turing
o Memory usage
o Thread counts
o Cache Synchronisation
o Configuration
o messaging
o Logging
o Garbage collection
o Mulesoft performance Tuning
o Mulessoft deployment strategy
o Database processing
o Middleware (JBoss) (only if possible)
o security
o debug opportunities

Essential:
In depth technical architecture knowledge and 5 years' experience
Be Mulesoft Certified
Experience of applying these disciplines for the API layer around a major new platform
Have strong Mulesoft implementation and support experience
Be experienced at Mulesoft tuning
Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
Experience of Mule High Availability Clusters
Be able to actively track processing at Linux level if required ie can operate independently of the environments team if required without putting further pressure on them
Proven track record in troubleshooting/analysis of this type of issue.

Desirable
Experience of the above around core banking platforms, ideally Temenos
Knowledge of specific application areas in banking such as lending, payments, transaction monitoring and cash management.
Correct entitlement to work within the UK and Ireland will be essential
