Cyber Security Analyst.
Leading Ecommerce organisation requires a Cyber Security, someone who is very hands-on/technical, especially in the areas of threat/vulnerability and be able to apply technical measure quicky and effectively to stop them.
You will be able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge, working hands-on, securing the company infrastructure through installing and maintaining various tooling whilst adhering to cyber security standards. The position requires you to be autonomous, and does not have any specific line management duties, apart from advising team members on best practice and the wider business on projects.
This role will someone who has come from a technical background in the capacity such as a security Engineer, networking technical lead, SOC Analyst, Pen tester or consultant, Networking with Cyber Security (networks, data encryption, DNS understanding, worked with lots of Tooling etc).
Candidates applying for the position should be able to demonstrate the following core skills & responsibilities experience:
Skills required:
- Excellent/broad technical knowledge of Infrastructure & network operating systems
- Scripting for API integration and BAU tasks
- Network Architectures - Securing multiple LANs over VPN and remote appliances
- Good knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks & how to enhance technical control areas
- Wide experience of Tools and dealing with the technical policies of them.
- Leading security initiatives, building/configuring new tools, cyber security best practice
- Working with internal business units, security providers and external 3rd parties
- Ensure the estate is secure by maintaining/employing defence 'in depth' measures.
This is an initial 3-6 month contract role, based in Cambridgeshire, easily commutable from surrounding counties, including London.
