Network Engineer required to join Global Technology Company.
Required Skills
- Languages: English and Italian.
- Excellent understanding of the IP technologies, protocols, network topology and network management tools.
- Excellent understanding of the Network operations processes & Functions
- Superior level knowledge in (1) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, ATM & Voice technologies, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and SDN.
- Exposure to one or more Cisco product lines like CRS-1, ASR9K, 7600, ASR1K, Nexus 9K/7K/5K/3K and CAT6500.
- Strong knowledge and experience configuring and troubleshooting OSPF, ISIS, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, Multicast, Security, QoS and VLANs.
- Experience with Scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash.
- Ability to leverage technical expertise of others.
- Knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity plan.
- Medium/Large-scale network design skills.
- Good/Superior Consulting and communication skills
- Professional Level CCNP or CCDP
Preferred Skills
- Working experience with SDN and NFV, programmable networks, Python and Rest-API's
- Experience in a leadership role
- CCIE or CCIE SP is a plus
