Our Client requires engineers to deliver, next Generation Networks and optimization services specializations using the Cisco product range.

One of the worldwide delivery datacentres is located in Krakow, Poland which acts as a delivery hub to drive scale, innovation and quality while local teams focus on business growth and outcomes.

The candidate will be customer facing and be an adept & Creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to escalated issues. You will be involved in highly innovative and state of the art technologies and architectures including - Route & Switch (Nexus), Collaboration, Data Center/Virtualization, Cloud, Mobility, Video, NGN and OSS.

Role & Responsibilities

With a seasoned mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent Customer relationship skills, you will

  • Manage and optimize existing customer Environments
  • Provide critical recommendations to help our customers retain their competitive edge
  • Identify and support customers business needs and expected outcomes
  • Design and implement complex solutions for Cisco's valued customers
  • Plan and document highly complex Upgrade and Migration activities across multiple Cisco technologies
  • Build simulated networks in test labs to proof exciting new solutions
  • Work in larger virtual teams spanning functions, regions and departments.
  • Contribute to the future growth and success of the Advanced Delivery Center

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires university degree equivalent along with 4+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment
  • Strong consulting skills, understanding customer needs and professional medium and large-scale networks requirements
  • Ability to transfer business needs to technical solutions
  • Understanding of network operations and change management process
  • Motivation to face customers, provide recommendations and network health check reports
  • CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge, CCIE level knowledge would be a plus
  • Strong knowledge in the following areas: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), WAN protocols.

Desired Skills

You may have a mix of the following areas:

  • Experience in designing, deploying or supporting Cisco Solutions
  • Knowledge in MPLS and QoS
  • Knowledge of network management tools and practices
  • Troubleshooting skills in medium and large-scale network environment.
  • Knowledge of vertical markets and understanding of customer challenge
  • Able to demonstrate experience working with medium and large complex projects and strategic account teams
  • Fluent English language skills, other European language would be a plus (Italian, French or German)
