Cisco Unified Communications Engineer - Telecom Engineer
Extremely stable and successful Atlanta based company is seeking a Telecom Engineer to join their team in their corporate office located in Tucker!
In this 12 month contract position, you will serve as a lead over a recent large Cisco UC rollout! Your job will be to evaluate, validate, make recommendations, and modify the current design and configurations of this newly installed Cisco VOIP phone system. You will provide ongoing support of the system and provide training, and guidance to other support staff as needed. Also, you will work with the team on brand new voice project designs!

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Telecom Engineer or VOIP Engineer - 5+ years
- Cisco - Strong experience with switching, and routing
- Cisco Unified Communications Mgr (CUCM) 4+ years with design, configure, support, troubleshoot
- Cisco Unity - Knowledge of voice Mail Server and application
- Knowledge of voice gateway configuration and implementation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of SIP trunks and traditional voice circuits
- Experience in configuration and support of jabber application in UC environment as well as the client application for window desktops, iPhone and iPads
- Knowledge of Expressway configuration
- Advance troubleshooting abilities of various call issues
- Experience in security configuration and best practices for VoIP networks
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Cisco Firewall experience
