Solution Delivery Team Lead
6 Month Contract, Daily rate applies
Approx. 450 eur per day
Location: Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow
Role Objective
This role will be responsible for leading the ICT Maintenance team in maintaining all existing ICT Test/Dev facilities, infrastructure, applications, information and databases; and ensuring their availability and security. This role will ensure that services are available and meet with the agreed service levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the ICT Maintenance Team in its role of maintaining all existing Information & Communications Technology facilities, infrastructure, applications, information and databases; and ensuring their availability and security
- Maintain all existing infrastructure including network, Servers, applications and databases to agreed performance and availability levels.
- Transition new services and upgraded services from test to production environment.
- Develop and implement Information & Communications Technology maintenance and operations processes which are based on and compliant with Information Technology Infrastructure Library.
- Develop and maintain high quality standard operating procedures and configuration documentation.
- Manage all change and configuration management for the Group's information systems.
- Ensure that appropriate information system security controls are in place.
- Ensure that appropriate monitoring is in place and services are available and meet with the agreed service levels.
- Maintain and test the information systems disaster recovery plan.
- Actively investigate new alternatives for the maintenance and provision of Information & Communication Technology services that increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Work with the Business Alignment and Architecture teams in researching and evaluating new technologies and solutions.
- Establish, Manage and own the following processes: Problem management, Knowledge management, availability and Capacity management
Support:
- Provide support to the Solution Delivery team where agreed.
People and Organisation:
- Manage and develop how to implement solutions and look for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of implementation.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years ICT experience in similar role within large organisation
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Server products, Citrix and VMware and SQL.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Desired:
- Excellent knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library particularly in the area of Service Management, Change and Configuration Management and Business Continuity.
- Good knowledge of information security
- Experience of dealing with vendors and 3rd Party providers and managing relationships and Operational Level Agreements.
- Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications solutions an advantage.
