Market Data Administrator - DACS MDM EMRS RPM Investment Bank
Technical/system knowledge: Bloomberg (knowledge of licenses) EMRS (Bloomberg permission system). Reuters (DACS for permissioning). MDM - (If they know the RPM module then that is beneficial).
The Role
Provide full administrative support for the Market Data Commercial Management department, which includes administering all market data requests and providing business/cost reports.
Ensure accurate records are kept in the MarketData Inventory system at all times, control costs whenever possible and provide support to cost centre managers in analysing their costs.
Co-ordinate Market Data calls within our request management system.
As the first point of contact for users tracking their Market Data requests there is the need to provide a competent reflection on the department and manage the expectations of the user.
Assess market data requirement for new joiners, providing cost breakdowns to the Business for approval. Process User requests for additional ad hoc requirements.
Track leavers.
Cancelling their current subscriptions or reassigning them whenever possible.
Permission approved users via DACS/EMRS/In house systems.
Process declarations (DAD,DUCE, MISUetc.) and run reports for direct declare exchanges.
Track Bloomberg licenses in order to retain tight control over the numbers in place.
This includes liaising with other locations to reassign spare licenses whenever possible and placing block cancellations to allow the swap out of licenses when spare.
Record order numbers and installation/conversion dates to aid invoice reconciliation.
