My client, a leading Internet of Things company, is on the hunt for a Global Comms and Media Lead to both define and deliver their communications and media marketing activity across a number of territories in UK, Europe and America.

Accountabilities

  • Ownership of developing and executing the through the line media strategy for all territories to support the wider communications plan developed by the Global Head of Marketing Communications and in line with their growth and revenue commercial targets.
  • Lead the planning and execution of creative assets for support of product and proposition roadmap and will ensure we achieve our brand and commercial objectives
  • Leading all offline media activity across territories supported by one Direct Report
  • Collaborate closely with your peers in their retail activation, digital, PR, brand and partnership functions to ensure that all communications and messaging are tightly project managed cohesively and coherently and fully integrated across all communications touchpoints.
  • Developing creative and optimising to suit a number of territories utilising econometric modelling and test and learn approaches
  • Day to day leadership of the creative, media and media auditing agencies across territories
  • Pro-actively working with our media agency to execute plans and ensure maximum ROMI for opportunities pursued
  • Briefing internal data teams to understand the latest econometrics modelling data to optimise future campaigns
  • Support the team by providing leadership and role modelling to more junior members of the wider Marketing team
  • Accountable for all communications and media reporting and brand health tracking, feeding in to various dashboards and reports within internal and Group functions
  • Deeply understand the competitive landscape and develop pro-active responses where necessary
  • Stakeholder management across the organisation to share the plan and maintain/improve the reputation of the wider Marketing team
  • Agency management - able to manage and deliver positive and constructive feedback in a timely way
  • Work with internal digital team on online media output and associated agencies.

This will be a 3-6 month initial contract with high opportunity to turn permenant. The day rate is paying up to £400 per day.
