Eximius are working exclusively with a London based Asset Management company who are looking for an experienced SQL DBA to support their in house IT team through a period of guidance and technical improvement. This is a small but successful financial services business based walking distance from Piccadilly Circus who are looking for someone that can work with the technical team as well as the business leaders.
Essential experience for this assignment will be;
- Experience in the financial services sector (asset management or banking preferably)
- Strong SQL administration knowledge
- Experience working with in house systems that integrate into third party platforms carrying high volumes of data
- Experience optimising a SQL database
- Performance tuning, capacity planning and IO optimisation
- Knowledge of hardware from a database perspective
This will be a 6 month assignment to guide this business through a process of technical improvement so it's critical they find someone that can clearly present ideas to the board as well as the technical team. If this sounds like your ideal challenge then apply now!
