Global Communications and Media Lead

Start: ASAP

Location: London Aldwych
Pay: £350-£400PD


*Ownership of developing and executing the through the line media strategy for all territories to support the wider communications plan developed by the Global Head of Marketing Communications and in line with growth and revenue commercial targets.
*Lead the planning and execution of creative assets for support of product and proposition roadmap and will ensure they achieve our brand and commercial objectives
*Leading all offline media activity across territories supported by one Direct Report
*Collaborate closely with your peers in retail activation, digital, PR, brand and partnership functions to ensure that all communications and messaging are tightly project managed cohesively and coherently and fully integrated across all communications touchpoints.
*Developing creative and optimising to suit a number of territories utilising econometric modelling and test and learn approaches.

Competencies and Qualifications:

Significant first-hand experience developing end to end marketing communications campaign elements from initial briefing, through creative concepts to development to production and whilst not responsible for digital delivery have a digital first mindset and approach.
A passionate senior player with the attitude to deliver in a fast paced, start up environment.
A flair and willing attitude is important as well as being a passionate leader who knows how to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams - someone who leads by example.
Experience working on a consumer brand, ideally a product/technology brand or similar industry preferred.

*Tech savvy while putting customers at the heart of everything they do.
*Results focused with a commercial mindset and able to balance the needs of the brand against this agenda.
*Ability to evaluate creative concepts for brand alignment and course correct as needed.
*Understanding of media plans/buying and able to provide direction to a media agency.
*Strong experience with the production process for above-the-line campaigns and demonstrable experience managing production budgets.
*Understanding of both traditional and digital media channels.
*Experience managing and evaluating advertising tests.
*Understanding of advertising and brand research with demonstrable ability to interpret results and understand the implications for optimizing marketing campaigns.
*Commercial awareness in how marketing campaigns drive overall business KPIs.
*Exposure to working with PR teams preferred.
*Experience creating an asset management library would be beneficial.

Work Experience

- 10+ years senior marketing experience with demonstrable experience of managing activity across multiple territories, sharing your own best practices
- Digital experience advantageous to aid cross-functional planning and understanding
Extensive knowledge of not just the UK&I comms and media landscape but globally as well, and demonstrable knowledge and proven expertise developing and adapting media and advertising campaigns to suit a number of global markets, taking in to consideration different cultural and language requirements
