SENIOR Linux SYSTEM SPECIALIST

The service searches Linux with Internet knowledge and several years of experience as an "all-round" System Administrator of Windows and Linux platforms.
Objective:
The Special Management team manages Internet access and develops tools with partners so that the researcher can make safe use of the Internet.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Specialist you participate in the DevOps team, where you have both management (Ops) and development tasks (Dev). You feel comfortable with the challenges of Windows, Linux and network and Firewall management.
You have extensive knowledge and experience in setting up, configuring, developing and managing (based on KVM virtualisation) Linux Servers and networks. You also have experience in configuration, installation, management and development of Puppet, Experience with setting up OpenStack based (private) clouds is an advantage.
Job requirements
You have at least a completed MBO 4 program, preferably in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering (diploma submission is required).
In the past 7 years, you have at least 3 years' work experience with setting up, configuring, developing and managing (based on KVM virtualized) Linux & Windows Servers and networks.
5 years you have experience in configuration, installation, management and development of Puppet
5 years' experience in configuration, installation, management and development of Windows, Linux systems and Firewalls
You have experience with setting up OpenStack based (private) clouds
You can identify problems, searches and recognise important information, unravel issues and link data.
You are confident in presenting facts, opinions and ideas. You can also use relevant communication tools.
