As a proven SAP Sales & Distribution Consultant, you will be expected to lead the Commercial, Sales & Distribution Logistics stream during a project's requirements gathering, design, development, testing and final go live stages of a project life cycle. You will have a track record of successfully delivering a variety of full SAP project life cycles where you have operated in the capacity of Functional lead. Hands-on experience is a must, alongside good communication, team work and leadership skills.
Role
- Assist with the development and preparation of project plans and schedules
- Lead and provide accurate estimates
- Play a pivotal role in RFP submissions, proof of concept work, feasibility studies, internal R&D projects and conferences
- Provide functional expertise across the Logistics Modules with focus on SD (and preferably LE) from design to project blueprint activities against agreed standards and policies
- Provide Functional expertise to support the Unit and Integration Testing of work packages in line with agreed processes ensuring completion within allocated timescales. Coordinate and drive End-User testing
- Ensure work packages are delivered on time, to agreed quality standards and budget
Key Requirements
- Proven experience of leading a team of functional consultants
- Have lead the Sales & Distribution workstream in a minimum of 3 full SAP project life cycles
- Demonstrable experience of requirement gathering workshops
- Willing to learn state-of-the-art new process and data governance tools
