Responsibilities:
The post holder will also be responsible for:
1) Providing a Support solution for support in relation to proposed changes in aircraft capability.
2) Working closely with the Air Sector Support Services to ensure that all Customer Support requirements are discharged correctly.
3) Liaise with the Contract and Aircraft Programmes team to define the aircraft design changes to be supported.
4) Develop integrated support solutions through the engineering life cycle utilising the Support DDP process.
5) Support regular reviews for responsible packages of work.
6) Support Project Management with Programme inputs.
7)Support Technical Review Pack Inputs to support the LCM process and technical management reviews
8) Support Technical input to New Capability Bids.
9) Support Solution implementation/Mobilisation.
10) Providing support to the Engineering and Technical Managers for the coordination of the ELC design review cycles.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who is able to communicate at all levels. The applicant will preferably be educated to degree level ideally in an engineering subject or with an appropriate engineering background, have an understanding of the Eurofighter project or integrated support solution development, and be comfortable working in a Customer focussed environment. The roles is based at Warton, however may require travel to Europe and customer locations eg UK or MiddleEast
