Role - Lead Electronics Engineer
Duration - 6 months
Location - Bucks
Rate - £45-£50 ph
Due to an influx of projects I am currently recruiting for multiple Lead Electronics Engineers to deliver electrical and power projects for 6 months+. You will be in control throughout the whole project life cycle and have full responsibility.
The bulk of your days will be spent leading an exciting engineering development project with a team of up to 6 engineers with varying skillsets. You will be supported by Senior Technical & Programme managers who are world leaders in Aerospace Electronics and Power market.
Key experience:
History of hands on Electronics Engineering whilst delivering product development or system design & verification projects on time and in budget
Strong understanding of the product development process including the interfaces between engineering disciplines and other teams such as Test Equipment, Software, Electrical & Power, Hardware etc
Knowledge and previous experience of working to DO254 & DO178 standards and constraints
Responsible for the technical definition of the Product/System
Good understanding of product design and development costs (Non-Recurring Costs)
Management of project spend to budget, less than £3m
This is a 6-month contract initially, with possibility of extension. The rate range - £45 to £50 per hour depending on the depth of your experience.
