Description
SSC Campus works for its clients within the national government on a new Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) service. This service will run on a HCI hardware platform and will be based on Citrix Xen Desktop and Windows 10/Office365.
To prepare and support the migration of customers to the new VDI service, SSC-Campus is looking for an IT Transition coordinator application.
Within the project, the coordinator will be responsible to guide the customer in the process of transferring the current applications that are offered in VDI to the new VDI service and accompanying the accompanying functional tests. activities:
*The right contact points (stakeholders) must be found for all applications
*The Functional Administrators must be facilitated to a 2Determine whether the application (s) are supported by the supplier on Windows 10 and if necessary, draw up suggestions for improvement for applications that are not supported, b. The impact on the licenses to be determined c. Identify any dependencies with plug-ins d. Determine whether the application is still in use. e. Advising on the preparation of a Functional Test Plan;
*Arrange appointments with the Functional Managers about following up the actions and ensure that it is carried out within the stipulated time; Determining the role of the application in the business processes (BIV rating) together with the Functional Manager;
*Accurate documentation of the information received;
*Coordination of the Functional Tests on the new VDI environment after which the Functional Manager is asked to approve the functional functioning; Control of the activities and stock of the packagers;
*Monitor the progress in the packaging of applications in connection with the migration planning within the program. The packaging coordinator is responsible for delivering a migrated application landscape for the various new Windows 10 Workstation types.
