Description
Next Ventures are currently looking for a Senior Linux Specialist for a 6 month contract in Utrecht, Netherlands. You will be joining one of Europe's largest independent IT solutions companies who provide services to European businesses and public sector organisations.
The Role and Experience Needed
- Responsible for the design and management of the Linux workstations
- Experience working according to ITIL processes (ITIL knowledge and experience, minimal foundation certified)
- Red Hat 6 (or more recent) certifications (RHCSA)
- Experience with configuration tools like Puppet and Ansible
- Knowledge of and experience with Linux Desktop, Linux Scripting (BASH, Python)
- Knowledge of and experience with virtualization techniques
- Experience with integration in both Linux and MS Windows environments
- Knowledge of the TOPdesk support tool
- Team player, initiative, decisive, analytical
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
Start: October
Duration: 6 months with extension
Daily rate: Competitive market rates
