Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Financial Controller to be based in Warwick for an initial period of 06 months with possible extension.
Experience:
Significant experience in a senior finance role within a complex multi professional organisation and providing advice to Directors.
Strong technical competence and the ability to clearly reconcile own work.
Competence in the use of and interpretation of data from financial systems and Microsoft packages, spreadsheets, ledgers etc.
Experience of successfully managing a financial accounts team.
Experience of designing and monitoring systems of internal control.
Successful liaison with senior management within and outside of own organisation.
Must be able to demonstrate successful management of annual accounts process
