Harris Global are recruiting for a Senior Technical Engineer to work for an industry leading organisation in the Brussels area.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Analysis and specification of operational requirements
- Analysis and specification of operational processes
- Analysis and specification of technical requirements
- Proofs of concept
- Development of scripts to automate and monitor recurrent systems related tasks
- Definition of test strategies, test design and testing of computing systems and networks
- Performance management
- Change and Configuration management (eg, assessment, scheduling, implementation, review)
- Capacity management
- Risk management
- Operational support (2nd tier) (Installation and configuration of all relevant hardware and software, Daily monitoring, Incident and Problem Management (eg trouble ticketing, fault analysis, diagnosis, and resolution)
Skills & Experience required:
- Powershell 2.0
- Other Scripting languages (Perl, BASH, VBscripts, WSH, batch)
- HTML
- Cisco Ironport
- Symantec Enterprise Vault
- Microsoft Exchange 2010
- MS Outlook 2010 configuring and programming
- MS SCOM 2012 Monitoring and Reporting
- Sendmail 8.13
- MS-SQL 2008 administration
- Mailing List Management Tools
