Description

A government department in Canberra require the services of a SAP Data Migration Specialist.

The resource will need the following attributes:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience with SAP Business Object Data Services ETL to perform the profiling and migration of Legacy data;
  • Experience is setting up a data migration strategy and design activities;
  • Ability to work with functional experts/BU subject matter experts to validate and verify data and processes;
  • Demonstrate experience to lead data assessment and mapping activities, and architect the underlying migration framework to extract, transform, validate, enrich and load the Legacy source data;
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis and Analytics principles and practices;
  • Extensive experience with Enterprise ETL, Data Quality and Data Management activities;
  • Knowledge of core SAP ECC Components; Knowledge of platform and interfaces; Knowledge of integration between applications and external systems;
  • 5+ years' experience in rapid application development, SOA technologies, extract definition, large dataset manipulation and self-service tools;
  • Systems development life cycle, especially in regard to data extraction;
  • Advanced Database & Related languages - MS SQLServer, ANSI SQL Derivatives & Scripting;
  • Intermediate/Advanced SAP technical skills - LSMW, IDOC, BAPI;
  • Strong communication & presentation skills;
  • Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines;
  • Proficient in Cloud Computing technologies - HEC, SCP, C4S, JAM, Enable Now;
  • Previous experience working on a SAP on Government projects would be highly regarded;
  • Working with a multicultural team; and
  • Australian Federal Government Public Sector Industry experience

The client requires candidate to have baseline clearance prior to commencement.
