Description
Are you a Electronics Engineer, with at least 4 years' experience in Design and Development.I am working with one of the UK's most interesting engineering services business who offer contractors long term security across multiple clients and industries, providing variety, ongoing professional relationships and engineering challenges.
This particular contract is going to be an initial 6-month contract working in the Fire and Construction industry and is highly likely to roll over for a minimum 12-month period but should extend beyond that.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- A minimum 5 years of proven experience as a design Engineer with experience in power electronics.
- Experience in component selection, prototyping, testing and making design changes.
- Experience using Altium for schematic and layout design purposes including right-first-time design.
- Ability to work with other design/test engineers as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Experience with designing highly efficient buck & boost converters, SEPIC converters and battery monitoring circuitry.
- Experience designing for EMC and make changes in-situ is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of standard test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
