Position Summary:
As part of Network Solutions organization, the Network Analyst role is to provide Network Design and Project implementation consistent with WAN/LAN/Voice/Wireless practices, manage technical support for data and voice services globally.
Detailed description:
Create standard/bespoke network design based on customer/project requirements
Implement standard/bespoke network design following project requirements and customer needs
Provide L3 network support consistent with WAN/LAN/Voice/Wireless practices
Provide recovery and restoration of the network in event of a disaster or major incident
Optionally provide weekend on-call for EMIT network infrastructure globally to ensure 24x7 coverage for break/fix support
Occasionally carry out planned weekend overtime work when required - implement changes
Participate on Security and Control related tasks such as Audit
Develop strong relationship with the assigned Area, enabling a 2-way communication path.
Accountable for site network health, proactive monitoring and addressing chronic performance issues in the site. The Subject Matter Expert for their assigned sites, participating in any MIRs and SWAT teams, as well as provide various levels of support for any projects/SWIs at their sites.
As member of Optimization and Performance Team focus on capacity planning, performance monitoring and automation to ensure our sites stay connected.
Maintain a working knowledge of used technologies both CISCO and Juniper (routing, switching, WAN/LAN protocols, Wireless etc.)
Participation in local Budapest BSC activities, initiatives
Work on any other job related activities requested by his/her supervisor or manager
